Natural Lash Mapping Styles, Across Every Eye Shape
The natural look in eyelash extensions, on all nine eye shapes. Same intent, nine different maps — because the same peak placed on a hooded lid and on a downturned lid does not read the same.
A natural lash map follows the way the lash line already grows — shorter at the inner corner, longest somewhere past the middle, tapering out. It is the least dramatic effect and the hardest to fake, because there is no styling decision covering an error in placement. It is also the effect most often asked for by a first-time client, which means it is the map a technician builds most and examines least.
The nine maps below are this effect on every eye shape, in each technique. Read across them to see what the shape underneath changes — that comparison is the part a single tutorial cannot give you.
