Also called cateye, kitten eye. The same layout is meant in each case — the name changes, the geometry does not.

A cat-eye lash map raises the line toward the outer corner and stops short of the tip. It is the most requested effect and the most often misplaced: the peak belongs before the end of the lash line, not at it, and a peak that runs all the way out drags the eye down instead of lifting it. What a cat-eye does to an eye depends entirely on the shape underneath — the same peak on a hooded lid and on a downturned one does not read the same way, which is why there are nine maps here rather than one.
