Squirrel / Fox Lash Mapping Styles, Across Every Eye Shape

The squirrel / fox look in eyelash extensions, on all nine eye shapes. Same intent, nine different maps — because the same peak placed on a hooded lid and on a downturned lid does not read the same.

Also called fox eye. The same layout is meant in each case — the name changes, the geometry does not.

A squirrel lash map arches over the outer iris and eases down after it, so the lift happens before the outer corner rather than at it. Much of the industry calls the same arch a fox eye. It is the effect that does the most corrective work on a downturned line and the least on an upturned one, for the same reason: it lifts where the eye is already heading down.
